Arsenal defeats the MLS All Stars 5–0 as Havertz scores
When Arsenal destroyed a Major League Soccer starting XI 5-0 in Washington, DC, they were in a rabid mood.
Before halftime, Mikel Arteta‘s team got the scoring going with two incredible outside-the-box goals from Gabriel Jesus and Leandro Trossard.
Jorginho converted a penalty just after the second half began to make it 3-0.
The MLS All-Stars suffered their worst loss in this iteration of the annual tournament at the hands of the Gunners, who also scored late goals from Gabriel Martinelli and Kai Havertz.
After winning 2-1 in the 2016 edition, Arsenal continued to go undefeated in the competition.
On Saturday, they will play their next preseason match against Manchester United, a competitor from the Premier League.
