No fewer than 50 attorneys are scheduled to represent Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for president, at the Presidential Election Tribunal, in what appears to be a noveldevelopment.
Remember when Labour Party claimed it had hired at least 20 renowned Nigerian lawyers to contest the results of the presidential election on February 25 on behalf of Peter Obi, its presidential candidate?
Reportedly, Tinubu‘s attorneys are awaiting delivery of the petitions submitted by Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP) and Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate was declared the winner of the election on February 25, to the chagrin of both opposition candidates.
Atiku and Obi, who received 6,984,520 and 6,101,533 votes respectively, finished in second and third place behind Tinubu, who received 8, 794,726 votes.
