Barcelona announces an updated date for their friendly game against Arsenal
In a statement, Barcelona reassured supporters that they will honor their preseason match against Arsenal on Wednesday.
After a few players contracted a virus, the La Liga heavyweights were forced to cancel their match against Juventus on Saturday.
It raised the possibility that their matchup in Los Angeles against Mikel Arteta’s team might also be postponed.
Barcelona, however, stated in a post on social media:
“FC Barcelona would like to encourage its fans to attend and enjoy the game we are going to play this Wednesday against Arsenal at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.
“Both teams are in close contact and we both have the utmost confidence that our game will go on as planned.”
