Antonio Rudiger Asks Real Madrid To Sign The Chelsea Star (See Him)

Real Madrid defender Antonio Rudiger says he is happy to meet former Chelsea team-mate Kai Havertz at the Santiago Bernabéu.

Rudiger says he would like to play with Havertz again at international level.

Havertz is ready to leave Stamford Bridge this summer and Chelsea will heed Mauricio Pochettino’s offer to downsize his bloated side ahead of his first season as club manager.

The German striker has been linked with a move to Real Madrid this summer after Karim Benzema left the Whites.

“I would be happy to play with Havertz again at club level.

“Unfortunately, I cannot say much about it because, on the subject of transfers, my word is secondary. It is the club’s decision,” Rudiger told AS.

Havertz joined Chelsea in a deal worth £75million from Bayer Leverkusen back in 2020.

His current contract at Chelsea will expire in 2024 and he has so far shown no indication he wants to extend.
