Elon Musk Replaces Twitter Logo With Dogecoin Logo – Did You Notice It? (See What Then Happened)

Why did Elon Musk really change the Twitter logo to Dogecoin Logo?

There’s no clarity on this yet but we assume that Elon Musk is simply trying to divert attention from the lawsuit against him by Dogecoin investors.

… and guess what? – Dogecoin went up

On April 3rd, 2023, Twitter’s logo suddenly, and inexplicably changed from the classic blue bird to a Doge. That being the Shiba Inu dog that spawned a classic meme, and even had a cryptocurrency, called Dogecoin, named after it.

The Doge replaced the bird that has been synonymous with Twitter from its inception.

Why Did Twitter Change Its Logo From a Bird to a Dog?

Many theories have circled about why Twitter (or Elon Musk himself) decided to do this. The only statement from Musk, the owner of the social media platform, was the tweet embedded above that includes a screenshot in which he states having Doge as the logo would be “sickkk.”

Some said it’s April fool

One popular theory was that the logo switch was an April Fool’s Day prank because the Dogecoin logo first appeared as the Twitter logo days after April 1, 2023.

However, it’s been many days since then and the Logo still remains that of Dogecoin.

The Logo change was to boost Dogecoin’s value and relevancy

According to Fortune Magazine, the change might also have had something to do with Musk’s love for, and investment in Dogecoin.

Anyways, the logo change has pushed the value of Dogecoin up by 20% in a matter of days.
