Why We Failed To Beat Nottingham Forest: Pep Guardiola, Manager of Man City

As Manchester City and Nottingham Forest tied 1-1 on Saturday, manager Pep Guardiola chastised his team for squandering “too many easy chances.”

In a dramatic title chase, the Premier League champions lost two points at the Forest Ground.

Before Chris Wood scored a late equalizer, Bernardo Silva gave City the lead.

Keylor Navas had to push De Bruyne‘s bouncing free-kick over the crossbar for the home team before Guardiola received a yellow card for his overly exuberant sideline outburst of frustration.

“We have to look at ourselves – we can do better. Today we miss too many clear chances. It sometimes happens,” Guardiola said.

“I was complaining to the fourth official and got a well deserved yellow card,” he added.
