CCTV Video Captures Murder of South African Rapper AKA (Video)
A CCTV video from the Friday night shooting that killed South African rappers Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane and Kiernan “AKA” Forbes has gone popular online.
Recall that on Friday night outside a restaurant in the coastal city of Durban, AKA and his close buddy Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane were both fatally shot.
AKA is seen embracing a friend in the video. Before looking back over his shoulder along the street, he shakes hands with the friend.
Before he can go back to his group, a man in a white sweater and helmet charges over and shoots him multiple times.
As everyone else flees, AKA collapses to the ground. The assailant crosses the street and vanishes.
Following the incident, AKA and Motsoane were pronounced dead at the scene.
The two were reportedly shot while en route to a nightclub for a performance as part of the rapper’s birthday celebrations.
