Buhari Reaffirms His Commitment to Advancing Tinubu and Other APC Candidates
The All Progressives Congress (APC) and its candidates in the next elections have received assurances from President Muhammadu Buhari that he will always be prepared to campaign for the party’s presidential candidate and all other candidates with “full enthusiasm and conviction.”
This is to allay fears that the President has not participated in political campaigns since his national launch in Jos, Plateau State, and to emphasize that, despite his continued commitment to party politics, the President’s tasks and obligations would occasionally be upheld on an equal footing.
President Buhari emphasized what he has consistently said, that he is prepared to campaign for the party’s victory in the general elections next year, while speaking to the Nigerian community in Washington, DC, on his most recent visit to the United States.
The President remarked that the APC campaigns have been the most vigorous in recent memory up until this point.
In contrast to the competition, who appears to be playing catch-up, “they have been impressive and of a high voltage.”
He expressed unwavering confidence that the party would triumph in every election with integrity.
