In the impending governorship and state assembly elections in Lagos, MC Oluomo, the chairman of the Lagos Parks Management Committee, advises those who want to vote for a party other than the APC to stay at home on March 18, 2023.
On Thursday, April 16, 2023, during a campaign, MC Oluomo, a well-known supporter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its candidate, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, made this known.
The union chief can be seen addressing a big audience in a video that has leaked online, asking party supporters to encourage their neighbors not to bother going to the polls if they don’t plan to vote for the APC.
Even though he insisted that the warning is not a covert threat, the Yoruba language in which it was delivered may have given the wrong impression.
