WAEC Announces 2023 SSCE Results (See How To Check)
The results of the 2023 West African Senior School Certificate Examinations (WASSCE) for school applicants were announced by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) on Monday, August 7, 2023.
The testing organization reportedly disclosed the results today.
The release of the results was confirmed by Moyosola Adesina, the head of the examination body’s public affairs division.
The West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) results for 2023 will not be released to candidates from eight states who owe the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) for a variety of services provided.
At the Press Briefing Hall at the WAEC National Office in Yaba on Monday, WAEC disclosed this information to the media.
The body bemoaned how difficult it was for the examination body’s operations because people couldn’t pay for the services they received.
The National Officer of WAEC, Mr. Patrick Areghan, stated in response to a query regarding the states owing WAEC that “around eight states are owing WAEC. We won’t list them all because some of them will cost money.
The highest debtors are Niger and Zamfara, though. Again, Zamfara did not produce any candidates for the WASSCE this year, according to Areghan.
