‘Calm Down’ by Rema becomes the most streamed African song in US history

To accomplish the accomplishment, Rema’s “Calm Down” overcame CKay’s “Love Nwantiti.”
This was announced on Friday by the American music data collection website Chart Data.
The data company tweeted,
“@heisrema’s ‘Calm Down’ is now the #1 most streamed Afrobeats song in US history, surpassing @ckay_yo’s ‘love nwantiti’.”
On Spotify and YouTube, the song has had more than half a billion streams in total.
Remember that ‘Calm Down’, a song featuring American singer Selena Gomez, climbed at number three on the US Billboard Hot 100, making it the highest-peaking Nigerian single ever.
Additionally, the song is the first African song to top the American radio charts.
