Tyson Fury formally welcomes Mason Mount to Manchester United (see what he said)
Tyson Fury, the WBC heavyweight world champion, has welcomed Mason Mount to Manchester United with a message.
On Wednesday, Mount transferred from Man United’s Premier League opponent Chelsea.
The stated total cost of the deal for the England international, including add-ons, was £60 million.
Mount tried on the team’s home uniform for the first time in a video that Manchester United had previously posted.
However, Fury, a professional boxer with a stellar 33-0-1 record, published the footage on his Instagram stories and added the following caption:
“Welcome @MasonMount”
The 34-year-old fighter, who was born in Manchester, has supported the Old Trafford team for many years.
At Man United, Mount will don the recognizable number 7 jersey. Remember that previous owners of the jersey number include players like Cristiano Ronaldo, David Beckham, and Eric Cantona.
