The transitional portraits of Bola Tinubu, the newly elected president, and Kashim Shettima, the freshly elected vice president, have been made public ahead of their May 29 inauguration.
Official Portrait of Tinubu – The Presidential Transition Council approved the portraits.
Bayo Onanuga, Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s director of media and publicity, revealed this on Twitter by writing:
“Pre-inauguration official photographs for President-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President-elect Senator Kashim Shettima. Approved by the Presidential Transition Council.”
Tinubu had been proclaimed the victor of the 2023 presidential election by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP), both running on the APC platform, were beaten by Tinubu.
At the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal, Atiku and Obi are challenging Tinubu’s victory.
