Many successful people we admire today were once rejected and laughed at for their ideas and visions. These individuals didn’t give up on their dreams, but instead, they kept pushing through until they succeeded.

Below are 10 successful people from different fields, such as arts, science, business, and entertainment, who faced rejection and criticism early on but went on to achieve great success.

Walt Disney: The creator of Mickey Mouse and Disneyland was fired from a newspaper because he “lacked imagination and had no good ideas“. He also faced multiple rejections for his first animated character, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, before creating Mickey Mouse.

Albert Einstein: The Nobel Prize-winning physicist was initially considered a failure by his teachers and struggled to find work after finishing university. He also faced criticism and skepticism for his theory of relativity.
