After Man City defeated Burnley, Kevin De Bruyne suffered a serious injury
Kevin de Bruyne, a midfielder for Manchester City, “will be out for a while” after hurting his hamstring against Burnley, according to manager Pep Guardiola.
In the first game of the year on Friday, which Treble-winners City easily beat 3-0, De Bruyne hobbled out after 23 minutes.
In June’s victory over Inter Milan in the Champions League final, the Belgian international played for 36 minutes.
“He was injured again unfortunately,” Guardiola told BBC Match of the Day. “It is the same place and position as the Champions League [final] and he will be out for a while.”
