Two goals in the second half against Manchester United gave Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou his first Premier League victory.
After Dejan Kulusevski’s cross deflected off Lisandro Martinez, Pape Matar Sarr calmly guided home his first Spurs goal from six yards out to give the hosts the lead.
Martinez, a Red Devils defender, later deflected Ben Davies‘ errant attempt past his own goalkeeper Andre Onana to give Spurs a second late in the game to seal the outcome.
