According to Fabrizio Romano, Neymar of Paris Saint-Germain has decided against returning to Barcelona during the summer transfer window because of manager Xavi’s affiliation with the team.
Romano shared some information on Neymar‘s decision to reject Barcelona while discussing Neymar on his podcast Here We Go.
The Brazilian reportedly said that as long as Xavi remains the manager, he will not return to Camp Nou.
Neymar is eager to leave PSG this summer due to the fact that he was not included in the team that played Lorient in a Ligue 1 match last weekend, which ended in a scoreless draw.
According to reports, the 31-year-old has signed a two-year contract with Saudi club Al Hilal, with PSG getting a sum close to €100 million.
This summer, Al Hilal has already signed a number of high-profile players, including former Barcelona winger Malcom, Ruben Neves, Kalidou Koulibaly, and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
