JUST IN: The Price Of Fuel Has Increased To N617 Per Liter
Reports claiming that the cost of gasoline has risen to around N617 per litre. This reporter visited a NNPC filling station in Abuja’s Central neighborhood, and it was established that the fuel price had been changed from N539 to N617 per litre.
Another customer just stated, “It is true, I just bought at N617 per liter,” while confirming this news to Daily Trust.
Although the immediate cause could not be determined, it is not entirely unrelated to recent predictions by oil marketers that the price of petrol will soon reach N700 per litre.
As of the time this report was filled up, the Nigeria Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NDMPRA) has not responded to the Daily Trust’s inquiry.
