Being tech-savvy in today’s world goes well beyond just knowing how to code.
While the conversation on tech skills may center on programming languages and algorithms, there are many other abilities that are just as significant and necessary.
A tech talent in and of itself is the ability to arrange and host meetings using applications like Skype, Zoom, Slack, Meet, Teams, and others. Another IT skill is the ability to speak clearly, think critically, and write succinct emails.
The bulk of tech millionaires throughout the world are adept problem solvers and critical thinkers; few of them are programmers.
Mark Zuckerberg, the co-founder and CEO of Facebook, has admitted that he is not a good programmer. He learned to code in high school, but he says that his skills are “very basic.”
