Guinness World Record Finally Awards Hilda Baci The Longest Cooking Marathon Record

Hilda Baci Smashes Guinness World Record for Longest Cooking Marathon

Hilda Baci, a Nigerian chef, has officially broken the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon (individual).

“The culinary queen, Hilda Baci has smashed the longest cooking marathon record, proving that her passion for flavour knows no limits” GWR

She cooked for 93 hours and 11 minutes, beating the previous record of 87 hours and 45 minutes set by Lata Tondon in 2019.

Baci, who is known for her popular cooking show “Hilda’s Kitchen,” began her cooking marathon on May 11 at the Amore Gardens in Lekki, Lagos State. She cooked a variety of dishes, including Nigerian staples like jollof rice, egusi soup, and fufu, as well as international dishes like pasta, pizza, and sushi.

Baci said she was inspired to break the record after watching Tondon’s feat. She said she wanted to show the world that African chefs are just as talented as chefs from other parts of the world.

“I’m so happy that I was able to break the record,” Baci said. “I hope this inspires other African chefs to pursue their dreams.”

Baci’s accomplishment is a major victory for African cuisine and for women in the culinary industry. She is an inspiration to us all, and we can’t wait to see what she does next.

Here Are Some Of The Things Hilda Baci Said About Her Experience:
