The official referee for the second leg of Manchester City’s Champions League semifinal match has been named.
Wednesday night’s second leg of the Champions League semifinal between Manchester City and Real Madrid will be overseen by Polish referee Szymon Marciniak at the Etihad Stadium.
The Champions League match will mark Marciniak’s sixth time presiding over one of our games in the competition.
The most recent occurred during the second leg of Chelsea’s quarterfinal matchup against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu last year (2–3).
In the meantime, the semi-final first-leg match between Madrid and City in Spain last week ended in a 1-1 stalemate.
Man City vs. Real Madrid is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m.
