PACK YOUR BAG!! Chelsea Ready To Sell Mason Mount For £70 Million
Chelsea is prepared to part with Mason Mount.
With to interest from teams like Liverpool, Manchester United, and Tottenham, the Blues are asking for £70 million in order to sell the England international.
Mount’s current deal expires in 2024, and negotiations with Chelsea to extend it have made little to no forward.
The Blues’ most recent offer was rejected by the England midfielder, and Graham Potter’s team is unwilling to fulfill his purported wage expectations of about £200,000 per week.
The 24-year-old Mount does not want to commit himself to a lengthy contract at Stamford Bridge that would keep him with the team into his 30s.
Although Liverpool wants the player more, Manchester United and Tottenham are keeping an eye on his situation at the club.
This summer, with James Milner, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, and Naby Keita all expected to depart, Jürgen Klopp wants to make some changes to his midfield.
According to The Athletic, Chelsea is seeking £70 million to offload the midfielder this summer.
