EXPOSED!! Find Out Why Jose Mourinho Refused To Sign Virgil van Dijk For Man United

Famous British presenter Chris Kamara has said that he once suggested to Jose Mourinho that Manchester United purchase Virgil van Dijk.

Liverpool beat out other teams in the race to buy star defender Van Dijk in January 2018 for a fee of £75 million, and it has turned out to be money well spent.

The Dutch international went on to become one of the best defenders in both the English Premier League and the entire world.

He assisted the Reds in winning the Premier League and the Champions League, among other trophies.

During his tenure at Manchester United, former Sky Sports reporter Kamara claims he advised former Chelsea, Real Madrid, and Inter Milan manager Mourinho to recruit Van Dijk from Southamton, and it seems the Portuguese manager was interested in a deal.

Kamara said that the legendary manager, Mourinho said Manchester United were not willing to spend such money to sign Van Dijk.

“I can exclusively reveal that I told Jose Mourinho to take Virgil van Dijk to Manchester United,” Kamara – who recently received a MBE – said on the Proper Football podcast.

“Jose said, ‘these lot [Man Utd] won’t give me the money for him’. And then Van Dijk went to Liverpool instead.”
