The well-known Nigerian singer Raoul John Njeg-Njeng, also known by his stage name Skales, has spoken about Wizkid.
He finally addressed his protracted dispute with Wizkid, the leading Afrobeats artist.
Remember how the two insulted each other on the microblogging site Twitter in 2015?
Skales said that WizKid was too busy for him when a Twitter user asked when he and Wizkid will release a single together during a question-and-answer session with fans.
In a recent interview with Echo Room, Skales said that although he had meant that as a joke, Wizkid had taken offense.
He revealed that WizKid was criticizing his father on Twitter as a result of what he had said, and that his friend had called to inform him of this.
Skales said that his girlfriend at the time, not himself, was the source of the comments that appeared from his account at the time.
He went on to say that while he was insulted by the entire episode, WizKid might have been in a bad mood at the moment.
