Big Brother Pere Egbi, a former housemate from Nigeria, has stated what he would do if Peter Obi were to win the current presidential election.
The reality television personality who also acts as an actor has been campaigning for the Labour Party’s presidential nominee. He used the microblogging site to promise to give up his US passport and enlist in the Nigerian army if Peter Obi wins.
In his article, Pere stated that the Nigerian army is lacking in a few areas, and if he enlists, he plans to fill those gaps.
His remarks,
“If Peter Obi wins today, I would gladly return my U.S passport and then get involved with the Nigerian military, teach em a few things here and there. Go and cast that vote for Obi today!”.
Today, February 23, is the long-awaited presidential election, and voters have descended in large numbers to cast their ballots for the candidates of their choosing.
There are three front-runners among the 18 candidates vying for the presidency.
They are Peter Obi, who represents the Labour Party, Bola Tinubu of the All Progressive Congress (APC), and Abubakar Atiku of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
