Tiwa Savage is getting ready to take on her first major acting role as an executive producer

Tiwa Savage, a seasoned singer, has made a significant transition into the film industry as a producer.
The singer will soon have her debut film, “Water and Garri.”

Tiwa revealed the production of her soon-to-be released movie, which is a featured film, on her verified Instagram page.

She predicts that the movie will feature a memorable scene.
This is so since she not only served as the executive producer of the film, but also played the lead role in it.

With her featured film “Water and Garri,” the Afrobeat musician will enter Nollywood as an executive producer and add another feather to her cap.

She would play as a lead character for the first time in this production.
Meji Alabi, a director with a stellar resume, is behind the camera.

She said,

The story of success in the movie “Water and Garri” is seasoned with past pain and told from a position of guilty conscience.

Tiwa Savage played the part of Aisha, a successful fashion designer from Nigeria who relocates to the United States to deal with her past.

Famous performers including Mike Afolarin, Andrew Bunting, and Jemima Osunde appeared in the movie.

Producing “Water and Garri” together are Unbound Studios and JM Films.
