Candidate for APGA Governor Endorses Peter Obi

Candidate for APGA Governor Endorses Peter Obi

According to Chief Frank Nweke Jr., the All Progressives Grand Alliance’s candidate for governor in Enugu, Peter Obi of the Labour Party is the best of the three front-runners for the presidency in the 25 February election.

Nweke claimed that Obi is the best because of his character, ability, and integrity. Peter Umeadi is running for president in Nweke’s party, the APGA.

Therefore, he advised Enugu residents to vote for Obi in the presidential election on February 25 while also supporting other APGA candidates.

The APGA candidate said this while speaking at the Methodist Church of Nigeria’s 48th Annual Synod on Friday in Enugu. He also said that the church had a significant role to play in the installation of effective leadership.

Therefore, if elected on March 11, he promised to work with the church to improve education and reimagine society.

Because churches were superior at managing schools, especially primary schools, the cornerstone of education, he pledged to return schools to missions.

In response to the state’s severe water shortage, the gubernatorial candidate pledged that, within a year of taking office, he would increase water supplies, assure efficient waste disposal, and handle numerous taxes.

In order to improve people’s quality of life, he urged the church to support APGA in the state elections and vowed not to let down the people.

In response, Most Rev. Christopher Edeh, the Methodist Archbishop of Enugu, commended Nweke for associating with the church and prayed that God would aid him in pursuing his political aspirations.

The bishop declared that by casting a large number of votes, the church will actively contribute to the election of moral leaders in the nation.
