Bola Ahmed Tinubu Congratulates Tems Before Peter Obi, and Nigerians React
In congratulating Tems on her Grammy victory, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has joined other Nigerian and international personalities.
The APC presidential contender congratulated the Nigerian artist on Twitter using his official account. Tems was nominated for three Grammys in 2023 (Best Rap Song, Best Melodic Rap Performance for Future’s “Wait For U,” and as a featured artist on Beyonce’s nominated “Renaissance” album for Album of the Year).
Tems, who won a Grammy for Best Melodic Rap Song for her song “Wait For U,” is the first female Afrobeats musician from Nigeria to do so. Tiwa Savage, Omawumi, and Waje, three prominent female Afrobeats artists, congratulated her on Instagram.
Bola Ahmed Tinubu took part in the happy celebration as well.
His words are;
‘I join other Nigerians in congratulating Temilade Openiyi aka Tems @temsbaby on winning the Grammy award in the Best Melodic Rap Performance category for her contribution to the hit song “Wait for U” – featuring Future and Drake.’
