Jorginho Talks About How Someone Persuaded Him To Join Arsenal (See What He Said)
Jorginho, an Arsenal newcomer, has acknowledged that Mikel Arteta, the manager, had a significant impact on his decision to switch from Chelsea to the Gunners.
On Tuesday night, Jorginho transferred from Chelsea to Arsenal before the transfer deadline.
The international player from Italy committed to Arsenal for an initial period of 18 months, with a one-year extension option.
The 31-year-old was quoted by the club’s official website as stating the following during his first news conference after joining Arsenal:
“He [Mikel Arteta] was a big influence because I know that he tried a few times to get me. So, of course, he had a big influence [in me joining Arsenal].”
Now that Arsenal is playing Everton in a Premier League match this weekend, Jorginho might make his debut for the club.
