Wizkid, CKay, and Davido are defeated by Rema to claim the title — see the New Feat
With his hit song “Calm Down,” talented singer, composer, and performer Divine Ikubor, often known as Rema, has made a notable accomplishment on YouTube.
The graphics for the worldwide hit song “Calm Down” by the Afrobeats phenomenon are now the most-watched Afrobeats videos ever, making him the first and only Afrobeats artist to reach a stunning 350 million YouTube views.
The Mavin/Jonzing World act, whose recent Spotify milestone of 34 million monthly listeners—the biggest ever for an African artist—is followed by a new accomplishment as his dominance over the music industry continues.
The ‘Calm Down’ video just passed the 300 million views milestone, but it has since surpassed CKay’s ‘Love Nwantiti’ to set a new record.
On his Instagram page, the musician praised his fans for their support in response to the latest accomplishment.
He stated:
The most watched Afrobeat video ever, thanks dudes!
