Man City Prepared To Offload Star Defensive Player Cancelo
Joao Cancelo, a defender for Manchester City, is reportedly planning to join Bayern Munich on a temporary loan.
This year, Cancelo has lost the manager Pep Guardiola‘s favor.
The 28-year-old and Guardiola have seen ups and downs since the latter joined the Etihad from Juventus in 2019.
Cancelo, however, has developed into one of Manchester City’s standout players in recent years, contributing both defensively and offensively.
Cancelo played solely as a substitute in Portugal’s final two games at the Qatar 2022 World Cup due to his performance.
Upon his return to England, Cancelo has only started three of City’s games, and Rico Lewis has now supplanted Kyle Walker as the team’s starting right-back.
