Check Out The 2022 Candidates For FIFA’s Best Coach Award – Who Wins This?
Following their accomplishments in 2022, FIFA has announced a short list of the top five managers for the best manager of the year award.
On January 12, 2023, the FIFA official website published a list of the nominated managers.
The most prominent person on the list is Morocco’s coach, Walid Regragui, who took the North Africans to the FIFA World Cup Semifinals, a feat that has never been accomplished by an African nation.
Carlo Ancelotti and Pep Guardiola were both included on the list of finalists for the prize.
Ancelotti for helping Real Madrid win the UEFA Champions League, and Guardiola for helping Manchester City win the Premier League.
Didier Deschamps, the 2018 World Cup champion who led France to back-to-back World Cup finals, was also a nominee for the honor.
Lionel Scaloni, the head coach of Argentina, is the ultimate favorite to receive the honor for to his accomplishments in guiding the South Americans to their third World Cup championship.
