Atiku’s Wife Causes Internet Uproar With “Vote APC” Error (Watch Video)
The internet has gone crazy over a video of Titi Abubakar, the wife of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar, urging Nigerians to “vote” for the All Progressives Congress (APC).
While criticizing the APC for breaking its promises to Nigerians, Titi made an obvious error by urging citizens to support the party in the general election in 2023.
She said: “By February 25th, everyone should come, and if you haven’t picked up your PVC, go get it. We should vote for the APC because it made a lot of country-enhancing promises, but we can already see how things are going.
Festus Keyamo, the spokesperson for the APC Presidential Campaign Council, reacted to the video by defending the PDP presidential candidate’s wife.
Keyamo declared:
“…In all honesty, this is clearly a slip of the tongue, but we maintain the opinion that it is ridiculous to make a mountain out of such a molehill, especially when you immediately correct yourself!”
