Lagos Guber: Naira Marley Explains Why Sanwo-Olu Is the Best Candidate for the Position
Naira Marley, a Nigerian singer, has spoken out about election-related issues, particularly those that concern the contest for governor of Lagos State.
Wednesday night, Naira Marley broadcast a live video on his Instagram page to share his feelings and show his support for Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
Sanwo-Olu was deemed to be the ideal candidate by the vocalist.
He continued by saying that tremendous progress had been made in infrastructure and other areas, and that this progress was visible to everyone.
“I’m not (for the) All Progressives Congress, I’m not (for the) Peoples Democratic Party, I’m not (for the) Labour Party…but where Lagos is going right now, we don’t need to start testing at all.
“I think Sanwo-Olu is the right person for the job. This is not a paid promo or nothing. He has achieved a lot, he also has experience,” he said.
He claimed to be aware of Sanwo-potential Olu’s to transform Lagos.
Naira Marley claimed that as a Nigerian, he could not be hushed in his choice despite the usual pattern of fan criticism following the declaration of a favoured candidate.
