3 Teams have qualified for the 2026 World Cup, according to FIFA
Canada, Mexico, and the United States will all receive automatic bids to the 2026 World Cup, according to FIFA.
The following iteration of the international spectacle will be co-hosted by the three countries.
There will be 48 teams in the tournament’s expanded field.
Beyond the three hosts, there would be three further spaces available for CONCACAF teams.
“The hosts of the FIFA World Cup 2026, namely Canada, Mexico and the USA, will qualify automatically for the final round of the competition, with their slots therefore being deducted from the overall allocation of six assigned to CONCACAF,” a FIFA statement read in part.
